this is real interesting stuff......
I'm not very familiar with loopers of any kind..
never messed with them at all...
I think I have a bit of a steep curve ahead...
I reckon it's gonna take some getting used to
I'm a hack and I can pull it off, HAHA!
It is as easy as hit record on the beat and hit it on the beat again when you are done with loop, haha.
All jokes aside, I think it is as easy as you make it. I use the looper live and it works very well. Granted I keep it very basic RECORD, OVERDUB and STOP. As tech savvy and musically talented as you are I bet you will get along with it just fine. I'm a hack and I can pull it off, HAHA!
So stomp the "go" switch, wait exactly stupid beats, then stomp it again on the stupidth beat.erm.... we intend to play in time sigs like stupid/8.. lmao
scene1 - Riff
scene2 - Solo
scene3 - Clean
scene1 - Riff
scene2 - Solo
scene3 - Clean
features:
- clean<->dirty tone morphing
- wah
that'll do for starters...
so here's the first thing to consider control wise
do I have one scene per switch?
or
1 and 2 on one switch and 3 on another?
the first option offers more flexibility but uses more switches than the 2nd
So does this mean you'l be using an expression pedal to go from Clean to Riff, and another switch to jump into Solo? You can't really morph from one Scene to another that I know of? But what a great thought huh? LOL
sorted....
one switch per scene
MFC
IA1 = scene1
IA2 = scene2
IA3 = scene3
IA4 = CC:20 [modifier extern1]
IA5 = CC:21 [modifier extern2]
the FS-6 can now be connected to the MFC XS3/4 port to pick up modifiers extern3 and 4
