Aren't there better pedal options for this like, SD-1, all the tube screamer models, OD-1, etc. Kinda a weird combo an amp in the box style drive into a high gain amp but who knows maybe it sounds cool.Bottom end of my LP seems to have lost some of it's bite and grind vs previous on the Box o' Crunch in front of Slo 100 Rhythm
Am I remembering correctly that the Box o' Crunch is based on a Marshall Guv'nor? Carcass used that pedal in front of a 5150 for their legendary Heartwork tone, mixed in with a little bit of a Marshall combo of some kind. I've had some fun with the Box o' Crunch and 5150 in the Axe.Aren't there better pedal options for this like, SD-1, all the tube screamer models, OD-1, etc. Kinda a weird combo an amp in the box style drive into a high gain amp but who knows maybe it sounds cool.
Did you try the Batch Setter in the editor? It should work, I think...Is it possible to change the drive to high of multiple presets at the same time?
The slo is on a low gain setting. All the drive is coming from the box.Aren't there better pedal options for this like, SD-1, all the tube screamer models, OD-1, etc. Kinda a weird combo an amp in the box style drive into a high gain amp but who knows maybe it sounds cool.
Is the pedal sounding the way you described without the new oversampling or is this only with it on?The slo is on a low gain setting. All the drive is coming from the box.
Yes just with it set to normal, no oversampling and i haven't changed anything else in the preset. Is the pedal sounding the way you described without the new oversampling or is this only with it on?
I believe you are thinking of the blues breaker. The blues breaker is a distortion/overdrive. The Guv is an overdrive/boost and it has a bass knob to cut bass. I read the description for the blues breaker just now too and it describes that pedal as smooth and warm. The Box o Crunch isn't exactly the same as the blules breaker either.Am I remembering correctly that the Box o' Crunch is based on a Marshall Guv'nor? My assumption would be this has to do with the amp model and not the drive then.Yes just with it set to normal, no oversampling and i haven't changed anything else in the preset.
Right, I wasn't sure. These days, when I find myself reaching (virtually) for a drive, I go straight for the Maxon.I believe you are thinking of the blues breaker. Added “Oversampling” parameter to Drive block.
