So, I've been working on fat boutique tones for the AM4 these last days :
My friend playing in the second video is a tube amp snob that I converted to the world of Fractal, he now plays live with a FM9, and his Mesa Lonestar or Soldano SLO 30 (both are behind him on the couch) and expensive pedalboard with boutique pedals stays home. When he noodle, he tends to be very chaotic
but I wish I had his technique !
I already had such presets for the Axe-Fx III/FM3/FM9, but instead of just copying the settings, I made each preset from scratch, because it's so much more fun. I had a blast making all these tones and noodling for hours with them. I'm not a real blues rock or jazz fusion player, but at least, with these sounds, I can pretend
One thing I noticed with the AM4, is that its 4 blocks limitation can also be its strength. I really think that the sounds I made here are better than the ones I made for the Axe-Fx III - and my friend agreed too, he had a blast playing them. Now he wants them for his FM9 !
I'm sharing one special preset here ; it's based on the Dumble ODS 2 from the pack, but as I use custom impulses on scenes 1-3, I made another version, using only Dyna-Cabs, with a different one in each scene.
