Fixes the gain bug in some of the Drive models .

Axe-Fx III Firmware Release Notes

31.04

Increased pitch tracking range in Pitch block to ~2500 Hz. This allows tracking pinch harmonics better.

Grouped types in Reverb block to aid in selection.

Increased range of Attack Time in Input block. Attack Time can now be set to a minimum of 0.1 ms. Existing presets are automatically updated.

Increased range of Attack Time in Gate block. Attack Time can now be set to a minimum of 0.1 ms. Existing presets are automatically updated.

Added Swedish Metal model to Drive block based on a Boss HM-2.

Added 1S2473 diode type to Drive block (to support Swedish Metal model).

@FractalAudio what can we expect with the Improved power tube grid modeling in Amp block?

The midrange clipping in a tube power amp is typically dominated by power tube grid clipping because most tube amps use slightly undermatched transformers and most speakers have less than nominal impedance in the midrange. The grids clip before the plates saturate. The improved modeling should make the midrange a little "sweeter".

Notable exceptions are Trainwrecks which use overmatched transformers.

Anyone have any suggestions for a base amp (or settings on an amp) for trying to model a Randall amp by replacing the tubes with a transistor tube type? I think negative feedback will be hugely impactful here. Yes...I'm trying to chase the Dimebag tone :-P

Wow, that was quick ! Thank you !!!

donot think any other product offers such improvements or services where it feels like instant gratification.
Fractal Audio is outstanding and extraordinary!

At work, I am forced to work with a company that does it like this:
If you have a request for a software change (improvements or bug fixes), you share it with them. The request is then added to a wish list. Once a year, the engineers get together and discuss which of these requests they will implement. If you're lucky and yours is among it, it takes about a year for the change to be implemented in the software. They might even charge you for it. And if you find a bug, your request for a fix is added to next year's wish list.

I've mentioned Fractal Audio several times as a positive counterexample, but they don't get it... (insert facepalm emoji here)
