Hey there,
I need a little advice. I’m looking for Angus Young‘s tone as heard on Highway to Hell. It’s something in the decay of the amp when you strum the guitar. Is the overtones of the background fizz in the tone. It’s sounding like there’s a constant „ssssss“ in the background. When the Tone decays it changes from „ssssssss“ to „shhhhhhhhh“ before vanishing completely. I know it’s hard to describe.
I can hear it pretty good in the Blankenship Leeds model. But I find it to be thicker and smoother in Angus Young‘s tone. Just listen to Highway to Hell and it might make sense…
Anyway. Are there any tweaks that I can do to make the SLP 1959 model of the Axe sound like on the album?
Thanks for all your help
And merry Christmas
