🔥Introducing the new AM4 Amp Modeler

Gotta ask about the GUI: what was the thought process behind choosing the parameter "bars" vs the "virtual knobs" on the other editors? I much prefer the virtual knobs, this is giving me flashbacks to accidentally changing parameter values while scrolling on the Helix / HX Stomp / Pod Go editors!

Basic section has virtual knobs. The expert edit has sliders.

No. The AM4 is an amp modeler, so its whole design is different. It has features like balanced line-level outputs instead of unity gain, and of course the new AM4 Amp block, which includes built-in DynaCabs. To support live amp selection, it introduces Amp Mode on the footswitches—four fully color-customizable channels plus a built-in output boost. It also has a very tasty set of effects blocks but it does not have all of the blocks that are offered on the VP4.

By comparison, the VP4 is specifically designed to add effects to an amp or modeler. It works great with an AM4, but it’s a separate product with a different purpose—not replaced by AM4 in any way.
I have VP4 and Tonex, really liking this AM4, Can I run the VP4 thru the inserts of AM4 and acting like a block i can place AFTER amp while still having the ability to add an effect block or 2 b4 AM4?

Inserts are at the end of the signal chain.

No. Inserts come at the end of all 4 blocks. Can't be placed anywhere in the chain.

Other way around. You can run the AM4 in the fx loop of the VP4.

So basically that would still work, would put time based there then rely and comps and gains from Am4. TY for the fast answer. Appreciate
your time.

Oh yes, I may have read it wrong.

That is how I have mine set up. VP4 in the inserts of AM4. Using VP4 for modulations, reverbs, delays etc.. And AM4 for compressor, drives, and amp etc.. before it.
