This might be my favorite interview from Beato.

I'm not familiar with Kemper products and I couldn't figure out what it was.I’m a little surprised to see a Kemper Stage floor unit on the ground between them.
Interesting I assumed it was an FM9 and didn't pay attention - but its a KemperI’m a little surprised to see a Kemper Stage floor unit on the ground between them.

Is this a concern people have?Says he's going back to tubes now.
When he's talking about going back to tubes, doesn't he say 'I may have a Fractal like this (points down), just for my in-ears' I believe he said Fractal.Interesting I assumed it was an FM9 and didn't pay attention - but its a Kemper
Some of these guys are sensitive creatures. Neal blocked me on his Facebook, so...Years and years ago when Rick was just getting the channel off the ground he mad some video about underrated guitar players (or something like that). I commented "if Neal Schon doesn't get a mention then I'm so done" which was supposed to be tongue and cheek but in hindsight probably made me sound like a total dick. Rick replied and absolutely SPAZZED at me. I apologised profusely. It sucks because I think Neal is both myself and Rick's favourite guitar player, so it's a shame to get offside about it. But yeah...weird moment that he probably doesn't remember.
I'll definitely have to check this out.
Yeah unfortunately Neal seems like he has a huge chip on his shoulder about a lot of things. Still one of if not my most favourite guitar player of all time. Some of these guys are sensitive creatures. Neal blocked me on his Facebook, so...
For one thing, I would bet my entire guitar gear arsenal that he's exhausted with reading/hearing, "You should get Steve Perry back" or "Without SP, there is no Journey" from the peroxide-permed, spandex-wearing sweat hogs in their 50's and 60's who cannot understand that SP can no longer sing those songs. I could care less about all of the other Journey band-related drama. I just want to hear some guitar playing.Yeah unfortunately Neal seems like he has a huge chip on his shoulder about a lot of things. Still one of if not my most favourite guitar player of all time.
I relate to Neal the most on the subject of effects. We both throw the kitchen sink at our guitar tones these daysFor one thing, I would bet my entire guitar gear arsenal that he's exhausted with reading/hearing, "You should get Steve Perry back" or "Without SP, there is no Journey" from the peroxide-permed, spandex-wearing sweat hogs in their 50's and 60's who cannot understand that SP can no longer sing those songs. And for the Kemper thing in the video: if I had the means, I would try/buy as much gear as Neal enjoys.
almost to a faultYeah, I wished Rick would have discussed the Kemper a little bit and let Neal turn some knobs for a couple of minutes.I relate to Neal the most on the subject of effects. We both throw the kitchen sink at our guitar tones these daysalmost to a fault
I haven't watched the vid yet - is the Kemper Neal's or Rick's?I don't get it - he's one of the most prominent Fractal artists. We've seen threads showcasing the massive Fractal rigs he toured with. Now he shows up on RB using a Kemper? - wtf?
