Axe-Fx III Firmware 28.08 Release

Thank you so much, I had a great summer night with the newly added Supro amp and the GR-300 presets made by the Fractal Gurus.

When I play guitar with the Supro amp, I can hear a nice unique buzzing sound in my ears.. 🤔 It could be just my imagination, but I really like this amp.

 
Is it just me, but post update, my hold for tuner on my FC 12 refuses to bypass or access the tuner there. Anyone else? Made for a gig with me having to use a clip on... ugh

No changes here using a hold function on my FC-12 for the tuner. Are you sure you didn’t accidentally change something on the FC-12 layout?

100% sure. literally upgraded, without FC12 plugged in, left for a gig,, ( I know , I know) and no tuner access via FC 12 , I shall plug it all in again in a mo,, I did plug in my macbook at gig to it to see if anything was off and all my settings were exactly as they were and always are. Just a weird thing.

Seem to have rectified it, changed my XLR over, he worked. Put the old XLR back in now works again... absolutely weird... Still.... sorted :)

I went through the same when I updated from to 28.07 right after updating from the previous 28.0..6 I imagine.

It finally fixed it self when I updated the cabs that I hadn’t updated. Still don’t know the correlation but I posted about it in the 28.07 thread seeing if anyone else experienced it too lol

really nice tones I enjoyed this one, where did you get the GR300 preset?, I recall it a while back, can you pls share?

When I switch Amp 1 Channel D from the new Supro to the Plexi 50W 6550, all audio cuts out and the Output 1 meter on the front panel is maxed out.

Can't reproduce. The Supro model isn't used anywhere in that preset.
 
@FractalAudio any insights into how the 5150 taper changed from the previous version to this one? It still feels like it behaves similarly (as in, practically nothing happens between 0 to 7.5–ish, and a lot happens between 8–9) but perhaps even a bit more drastic now?

It was inadvertently changed when the PVH models were remastered. It has been restored to its previous behavior which matches the actual amp.
