They're not experiencing a cpu overload from the looks of it because the fix is to reboot and sound comes back. This has happened to quite a bit of people so far with this update and on fm3 as well. Doesn't seem to be an issue with axefx3 though from what i have seen. I've seen it in here and on facebook forums. I am sure FAS is aware of it and working on it
It happened to me once so far and I could move around and change presets and stuff but no sound would come out. The only fix was to reboot. Hasn't happened since though for me, so far.
I will give it a shot but it has happened in factory presets as well as my own which are monkey simple
idk if tuner on axe edit somehow has something to do with it as its the first and last thing I use
It does not...think that does whatever "reset" that needs to happen?
I need to check into that too.I see the soft reset feature now. Will get into that tomorrow! Thanks!

no beta anythingAnd you are not using any Beta Cabs or Beta anything else, right?
I'm on version 8.01, do I need to install Version 9 before installing this latest firmware update?FM9 Firmware Version 9.02 is now available for download:

Has anyone noticed boot issues with 9.2? When I boot FM9T it boots to blank screens. I reset and it boots normal. I’ve never encountered this before update.FM9 Firmware Version 9.02 is now available for download:

New DynaCabs
A Dyna-Cab update is required if you are updating from a firmware version prior to 9.0 Beta 2.
The required Dyna-Cab file is included in the zip file for this release.
If you are upgrading from version 9.0 beta 1 or older, please follow the instructions in the included Firmware Update Guide. If you are updating from 9.0 beta 2 or 9.0 you do not need to reinstall Dyna-Cabs.
Preset CPU and Factory Presets
This firmware version includes major improvements to sound quality and performance. As a result, some presets now require more CPU. Older Factory Presets may exceed 80% CPU usage, especially on the standard (non-Turbo) FM9. To address this, new Factory Presets have been created for firmware 9.0+. These are not installed automatically and must be downloaded separately:

FM9 Mark II T here. Happened to me once since upgrading to 9.2, fixed with a reboot. I've probably successfully booted with 9.2 30 times since upgrading.Has anyone noticed boot issues with 9.2? Sorry if I’m posting this out of place.
** I have my FM9 plugged into a furman m8d power station. I’ve always left the FM9 switch to on position, and power it on and off with the main switch for the Furman… I’ve always done it this way (without issue), but thought I should mention it in context.**
Good, to know. Thanks, man. I was a little worried because it’s happened to me I think 3 times now out of maybe 200 boots?FM9 Mark II T here. Happened to me once since upgrading to 9.2, fixed with a reboot. I've probably successfully booted with 9.2 30 times since upgrading.
Has happened to me once so far. Fingers crossed.Booted up to no volume again. Reboot fixed it again.
I used the power switch on the back of the FM9 to reboot, but I could have also used the power strip switch. Over my 10+ years using Fractal rigs, I've probably had this happen 3 or 4 times, resolving it each time with a reboot. I never felt the need to report it as a bug, but I would chime in with similar discussions on this forum in case it was being reported by more than one person.Good, to know. Thanks, man. Do you use the switch every time?
Thanks in advance
Same here at least once no sound and a reboot fixed it.Today at rehearsal, booted up, no sound. Reboot no sound. Rebooted again and it was fine for the rest of the night.
