What guitar are you playing today?

Budda

Axe-Master
Thought we had one of these! Well, we do now.

Further simplified the S2 yesterday (im sure I could relocate the pots but eh, this works for now)

Took the S2 from B standard to D standard after neither my strat nor jazzmaster felt right practicing for my second project. Just restrung the jazzmaster too.

My newest guitar, received in trade for another great guitar, is a 2019 PRS Special SemiHollow Limited Edition. It sees its first gig (with me, anyway!) tomorrow night. I’ve been loving the great tone and versatility. I never really got what semihollowbody guitars were about, but I’m sure digging what this one does. Nearly 50 years of playing, and still learning there’s more out there! Reflections of FM9T/FC12 rig in the pickup…

You need some wide goalie stick tape to cover that upper cavity. Then you could do it with one piece. Unless that ups its sophistication level a little too much for you. 🤣

You didn't like the original Fender pickups? I guess not, but what particularly was off? Curious, because I have been looking at that one for a while.
No I did not...lol... ! I did not like the cream and black zebra bridge humbucker color scheme , I threw an all black Super Distortion in there...and I wanted black stacked humbuckers in the neck and middle positions, Not the cream color single coils......Now she looks mean, and Screams !!!!!! ......lol.....:sunglasses:

Oh and yes.
Thanks, I like everything about it except ...the thin cut out under behind the fine tuners, looks like could be broken very easy ? I would like it better if they would have left that just, solid wood there, would give some extra weight and sustain ?
