Is it fair to assume that now Axe 3 28.03 is "release", the upcoming new FM3 F/W will include as far as technically possible the changes in and up to the Axe 3 28.03 F/W ?

Yes, however while 9.01 is official there were some “wonky” features around pedals, inputs and active sensing that were introduced and are fixed in 9.02 Beta. So not wanting those issues for WIW i stayed on 9.00 and will just wait for 10.x official releases with those fixes and all the nice new features.

Yeah, I didn’t have any issues with 9.01, but I have the latest beta running with no issues. I don’t gig anymore and use it for personal enjoyment and some recording so I might have a different attitude if I did rely on perfect function in front of an audience. Although I have never had the FM3 lock up or crash and I’ll have plenty 2 to 3 hour solo jam sessions.😉
 
Yeah well I am a software dev and I understand about “issues”. Other than that it is kind of a pain in the arse to upgrade from FW8 and I am quite happy where I am. There are some features in the new version I would like to have but I can wait. Actually the current beta version seems pretty stable and I may break down and install it if it goes on much longer. I am enjoying what I have though so there ya go. 😎

Same same.

I'm looking forward at some point down the line trying out the new big muff variants, but I like what I've been playing with in FW8.
