And not just modeling, the music industry in general IMHO. Who else has customer support and service like FAS?

I hold FAS and Cliff in the same regard as pre-Gibson Mesa Boogie and Randall Smith. Two outstanding customer driven companies led by individuals who are extremely passionate about their ‘craft’, highly innovative & all about the music. They listen to their customers big and small and deliver!

My AXEFXIII is one of the best musical investments I’ve made in a long, long time.
 
Huge thanks to the Fractal Team for their relentless pursuit of excellence. I bought my AxeFX III 6 years ago and couldn't have imagined all the updates, presets, gifts of tone, etc. Best investment in guitar gear I have ever made. Customer for life. Added a VP4 finally, that arrives tomorrow. THANK YOU!

I was super on the fence about buying the FX 3, or waiting to see if an FX4 came out but struggled to reason out why they would release a 4 when the 3 is as powerful as it is with as much headroom as it has DSP wise - So I bought the 3.

All I can say is, wow - I've owned my other guitar equipment for 5+ years and have never had a firmware update in that time - Let alone firmware updates that have tangible impact on the sounds - I'm in shock and now completely understand why the price is where it is - Both because of the hardware you get and it's capabilities as well as the best customer service I've ever seen.

💯. I was browsing a thread the other day and some dude was saying "the high price point of high end modelers have made me just want to stick to tube amps" In my head I'm like ....I'm sorry.....WHAT??! You can literally roulette any of the 350+ amps in the Axe fx3, go and price a SINGLE boutique/modern real amp counterpart, and be ABOVE the price point already. Moreover, imagine stacking all of the physical cabs and amp heads in your house, auditioning real cabs and mics, and tell me how much time you would have to actually play? It's a no brainer. I can create anybody's rig/ any original rig I want in less than 5 minutes, swap tubes without spending time and money, and just play. Cliff's constant sound improvements have gotten us so close to the real thing at this point, we are beyond splitting hairs on realism. We are there. FYI, nothing personal to real amp owners I have no ill will to you guys, I just can't do it💪🙏👍
 
I really like that more stock presets are using DynaCabs. I didn't like DynaCabs at first, but now they're what I use most of the time, so I think just that addition alone is a huge upgrade, and helps me improve dialing in DCs myself.
 
Preset 0027 - 5153 - Scene 5 - Red FX - I am instantly transformed into a sideman for the Scorpions circa early 90s (as if Matthias or Rudolf would have any use for such an addition.. LOL).. awesome Presets and FW updates.. thank you Cliff & Co. and all of you that worked on these preset updates.
 
Thanks for this awesome surprise! I use the Petrucci Rig 2025 preset regularly, and I noticed the rythm and lead scenes lost a lot of bite/heaviness with the updated preset. Has anyone else observed that? I can crank the gain and adjust to my liking, but the difference is significant to my ears and wondering if intentional. Thanks.

Try to remove the room reverb in the cab block?
 
Typically, I go through the presets and color the ones I like Red. Whelp, now I just have rows and rows and rows of Red-Colored presets. Well done!

I don't think those are the updated presets, brother. The old 5153 preset with Scene 5 as Red FX is from I believe 27.x.

This is for the latest 28.02 presets. There (2) 5153 based presets in this latest version: "5153 +Stealth" and "Fremen's 5153 All-in-one"

I do have the pre 28.x 5153 preset saved in my "working" bank and can confirm that if you're seeing that Chan 5 is Red FX, that's from the pre 28.x presets you're using. Depending on whether or not you start your presets at 0000 or 0001, it appears the "5153 +Stealth" resides at 0027 as well, and is likely the newest replacement for the preset you're using.

I was about to hit post and I see your sig shows you're on 27.03, so if that's accurate, perhaps you meant to post this in a different preset topic, or...?

The old 5153 preset did kick ass, still does on 28.x but man, the new 5153 presets are both absolutely amazing. I just finished about a straight hour rippin leads on the new 5153 +Stealth preset, Chan 8 and it's both addicting as crack and absolutely stellar! Also Fremen's 5153 AIO is a straight-up work of art and about as perfect as I've seen a preset display what an amp platform is capable of.

All: Excellent job on these presets, I can't even believe we got NEW presets again!!! What dedication, man, thanks as always to everyone who contributes to this amazing treasure of work!!

All the fun of Christmas morning and none of the wrapping paper cleanup!! :cool:🤘
