Thank you! I made it up to the Recto presets so far. Great fun!
You're better than me.. I didn't even make out of the Fenders! :)

Everything sounds out of this world! ... and I don't mean to complain.. but just for constructive feedback, the levels between scenes and between presets are a bit off in places for me (using a Tele..)

I don't know if others have observed that?

In any case, that's easy to fix!

Thx for putting out the updated presets!

I've been taking another pass through the first bank tonight. In addition to checking for any minor issues others may have missed, I'm also making sure that any individually muted DynaCabs use the same Cab selection as the active ones in their channel. This should be convenient if you want to play with adding additional mics. I understand that there may also be a little bit of new sauce coming, so we'll have to see about new finals next week :-)

Like M@ says, it's unavoidable... Because it's totally guitar dependant. If you set this for low output single coil guitars, it will be off for medium to high gain humbucker guitars, and vice versa.
Talking about Telecaster and single coils, I think I greatly improved the Run Like Heck preset, although I would still personally use a Fender or Matchless model instead of a Hiwatt. Check this one 😎

among the 384x8 possible scenes i checked, there were maybe 5 questionable level comparisons i noticed. they were within sufficient range of being too quiet on one guitar, but loud enough on another type.

you can easily adjust the amp level parameter to match it for your setup, then save the preset.

I have only been apart of the Fractal community for about 90 days and I think there have been like 3 firmware releases in that time.

I was super on the fence about buying the FX 3, or waiting to see if an FX4 came out but struggled to reason out why they would release a 4 when the 3 is as powerful as it is with as much headroom as it has DSP wise - So I bought the 3.

All I can say is, wow - I've owned my other guitar equipment for 5+ years and have never had a firmware update in that time - Let alone firmware updates that have tangible impact on the sounds - I'm in shock and now completely understand why the price is where it is - Both because of the hardware you get and it's capabilities as well as the best customer service I've ever seen.

I think this is what eventually solidifies our feelings that Fractal is the right decision for us individually.

I have been playing off and on since 1967. I won’t say how old I was then, but over the years I’ve played with different equipment, and I never expected or experienced anything like Fractal’s.

As usual, I thought “hmm … I’ll stop by the Fractal forum and see what’s going on.” And then my jaw drops.

The amount of work that goes into this is beyond my comprehension. And my standard “thank you” just isn’t enough.

I have never seen any product, from any company, that returns value on investment like Fractal Audio does. I feel inadequate in lacking ways to show my appreciation.

Cliff, you and your associates knock me out. And Matt, the work you and your friends accomplish time and again – like Sisyphus – is a gift to us all. Thank you.

Better get used to it, Herr Schroedinger … Fractal never rests. I just checked, and the last time they updated the factory presets was … just this past Christmas. Incredible.
