Friends, please help. We really need the Satriani preset composition ten words.

why did so many people decide to make fun of me? after all, i asked you to help me choose this tone. i'm a newbie. too bad
It's a matter of behaviour.
Everyone here is keen to help but to expect someone to be gentle and polite you should act the same.
As a suggestion, you should have posted the song (youtube link or something similar) and try to explain what are your "problems" with it...

If the language is a barrier, you can use services like deepl or google translate

I'm sorry, I was having fun (as many here like to), but I meant it only as a joke in general, not at your expense. If you look at the last 4 words, I thought it was pretty clear I was joking about Satch, not you.

But that's the way it turned out, so I apologize.

Thank you friends for your constructive answers. I understand you.

It is very difficult for me to achieve this tone myself. I have owned fractal for less than a month, so help. Maybe someone here has made this preset before and could share it with me.

satriani's amp is in the axe fx, so i would start there. the fred pickups he uses have two resonant peaks (look up the specs), so using a peq in front of the amp to boost those frequencies can help to get that rich mid boost he has.

I don't actually know much about it, but the main part of the song sounds to me like some sort of fuzz in front of the amp.

Personally i dig his tone by himself in the intro :)

i don't like the sound of the intro either, but i need his main solo tone. i hope there are fm 3 users here who have satriani presets

Hi Felix and welcome to the forum! There are some awesome people here who really enjoy sharing information and geeking out over the tones possible in the Fractal (and other) units. Here are two tone walkthroughs that might be of help:

Marco Fanton has excellent presets and is also a poster here on the forum:

and Jon Cordy is a regular contributor to the G66 Fractal series:

To my ear, Joe's main tone in the video you posted sounds pretty close to Nick Johnston's tone. Maybe you could take this NJ preset from Axechange and tweak it get closer to what's in that video? (It's an Axe 3 preset but you should be able to load it with FM3. It loads ok on mine)

Since Nick pretty much plays single coils and Satch is mostly on humbuckers (and definitely on this song), that would surprise me... But I get what you're saying.
