Axe-Fx III Factory Presets for firmware 27.03

I spent some time trying more or less half of the new presets and they are AMAZING. I still haven't found one that doesn't sound good! What a great job!

Not only they sound good, but they gave me ideas on how to set my own presets, how to use DynaCabs, etc.

Don't know if this the right place for this, but apart from the question of why one should do this, when I change the amp in the factory preset “Mr.Gilmour Lead” to Solo 100 Rhythm or Lead, my Axe-Fx III (1st Gen) crashes.
 
It’s fantastic work!
I notice one eensy weensy issue, and I apologize in advance for not making a detailed note at the time…
In bank 3, there’s a duplicate preset name…. You think I can remember what it was??
Anyway, please make a note, and next time you’re in there…

The Axe-Fx III factory presets have been updated for firmware version 27.03 or newer.

A special thanks to @fremen for his significant contribution to this project. We couldn't have done it without you!

  • Selections from past Gift of Tone releases are now included at the end of Bank C ("RE-GIFT OF TONE!")
  • A few Easter eggs (or should we say stocking stuffers? ;-) are found within the update.
As always, we recommend backing up your current presets before performing any major update or installation.

Here's the list of what changed, by preset number and name only (no scene comparison etc). Some have just moved positions and some are net new. Don't look if you'd rather explore! The name Compurhythm is the one used twice as noticed by @pauly... EDIT Ping-Pong Pong-Ping is back in its original spot.

I used Dyna-Cabs on a few presets in bank A,mostly the ones with high gain amps ; tweaking a preset to taste to make it brighter/darker is so easy with them !

A quick note : the "Ballerina" preset is still there, it's now scene 8 of the Steve Vai FX GoT preset
 
Dweezil's Eruption GoT is not in it...? :cry:
Maybe they only went back one year...

Thanks for that list.

After comparing and analyzing, and BEFORE having audited all new presets on the device, below is the list of older factory presets that I don't see return in the new banks.

Possibly / Probably some of these are now part of another preset (as a scene). I hope so, as there quite a few favorites of mine among these. Or just retract these from the older banks and save them.

Note that the list below may change.

Incredible. Unbelievable. Thanks to everyone who contributed … the amount of work involved in this must have been staggering. And extra special thanks to Matt!
