modelling yes. Wanted a smaller form factor (with limitations of course). FX only, i m not sure who will go for that. Vast majority of amp guys tend to use physical pedals. Also the market has extremely good alternatives from eventide, L6 etc.
Well I can only speak for myself, but if this is a 4-button box with stereo in and out that can also do midi and 4 cable method, and offers me all of the same effects that my axe3 offers me, along with midi control of other pedals on the board, along with preset switching, gapless and full spillover, and gives me at least 1 mod slot, 2 delay slots, 2 reverb slots..... then this is basically the product I've been wanting Fractal to make for years. Insto-buy.
What a tragedy. They will have to use one of the several other incredible FAS products that include amp modeling. Like.. how many devices do you need that do the same thing as you already have?

Bypass with the FX8 was so solid. I can't say the same for the HX FX (though that could just be me not having set the in and out levels perfectly). I'm not there yet with the FM9.
So, no amp switching capability?

I can admit that I was a little surprised to not see that. I wasn't really expecting quite so small of a format, and ideally hoping for something closer to the FX8.
Maybe FAS can whip something up to be sold separately. Then it could work with the whole lineup
and weighs x2.5 the weight of these 2 pedals together
