Curious about anyone's experience with them
Love them! Their 9-46 set is just across the board better than the #2222 Ernie Ball set. Gauges are better balanced, plain strings feel smoother and more polished, and wound strings are crisp, twangy, and full....Curious about anyone's experience with them
Tried the 9-42 on my Charvel for a while, really liked the 9-12-15 rather than the traditional 9-11-16 for the top 3. Immediately stopped overbending the B string since it didn't feel so floppy.
I used NYXL's for a long time, and loved them. I don't think they make a 9.5-46 set; if they did, I'd go with whichever I could get for cheaper.Anyone have thoughts on these compared to NYXLs?
I'm using the NYXL 9.5-44 set now. SJ has 9.5-46, so pretty close to the same.I used NYXL's for a long time, and loved them. I don't think they make a 9.5-46 set; if they did, I'd go with whichever I could get for cheaper.
I know I saw this too. I buy all my strings from them. Good companyStrings & Beyond just sent me an email saying they are now stocking them. I'll give them a try next time I need to order.
Let me know what you thinkThanks for the inspiration. I'm a long time Elixir user, standard 10-46 on everything. I've just ordered 3 sets of Stringjoy coated 9.5-46 to try out.
