Modeling Questions

I've updated the Wiki.

Happy Thanks GIF

What I'm saying is, the current 1970 100W Plexi model can turn into a really nice MKII Super Lead with a small presence cap change.
Also, why isn't there a separate Treble and Normal channels? This amp model deserves more love.

Playing this one at the moment and loving it. Having the non-jumped channels would be pretty awesome as I find I personally prefer the treble channel on just about any NMV Marshall.

Set it to 1/6.8 = 0.147.

Yep, that worked perfectly.
Anyone who wants to try a Super Lead with a 0.68u presence cap, set "Presence Frequency" to 0.147 on the 1970 100W model.
Waiting patiently for separate channels, otherwise it's a really nice 1959 Super Lead.

5k+0.1u = 318Hz (Presence Frequency: default 1)

5k+0.68u = 47Hz (Presence Frequency: 0.147)
Almost a full bandpass, very noticeable with Pre-PI Master Volume mod like Jose.

The treble channel on my 75 is quite something - havent wound it up just yet. The normal channel reminds me of my 2203 as a clean pedal platform. Not sure if mine is bright compared to many or what.

Outdated AF.
Of course I compared all of them.

I think it's important to preface quotes in the Wiki with a note showing they refer to a specific model, and maybe the firmware revision at the time. Without that it's difficult to tell what point on the continuum is being discussed causing confusion. Then, "outdated" isn't the issue, it's just part of the product development flow.

That was one of my goals when I was making updates and editing, along with trying to make the commentary flow a bit better, and to get rid of "click here" types of anchor text. Back when I was building and programming sites I kept these at hand and in mind: :)

Ah, "click here" - the "you've heard about elf on a shelf" of hypertext....
