Exactly same situation here! My main kitchen sink preset hasn’t changed in a year. Who has the time? Thanks guys! Been working 18 hour days at my day job and the spare time is few and far between.
I've got a gig tomorrow with a horn band and no time to prep on the FX-III.
I'd truly appreciate any thoughts on clean/edge factory presets that would work good with MoTown, Funk, Soul.
I'm playing a Strat.
Thanks!!!
… indeed… that was “the crux of the biscuit”.But what amp did you use?
That's a real sleeper preset IMO. Great for all kinds of pop/rock hit material.0140: Enumerating Ravens
I made that one to sound like the guitar tone on Counting Crows "August and Everything After" which is such a great sounding album. That's a real sleeper preset IMO. Great for all kinds of pop/rock hit material.
I'd be curious to see how many folks will give this preset another look now that they know what it's modeled after.I made that one to sound like the guitar tone on Counting Crows "August and Everything After" which is such a great sounding album.

I had a little chuckle at the preset name when I first saw it. There's another one in there about glockenspiels too...I'd be curious to see how many folks will give this preset another look now that they know what it's modeled after.
