You can try out Cab Pack 2: Mad Oak. It has a 4x12 Thiele cab with EVs in it.I'm looking for an IR for a 4x12 loaded with EVM-12Ls, if anybody knows where to find one, please clue me in.
The 12L MIX IR (no cuts) is what I've been using the past 2 months with Friedman BE 2010 and Atomica Hi.FAS site has a free EV12L pack. Madoak mix cab pack.
Did you check EV's site? It's a guitar speaker. Why they would use that model in what they describe as a FRFR… makes little sense. So is the EV 12 L a guitar speaker or an FRFR speaker?

Yes I did, what made me doubt was the video comparison hereunderDid you check EV's site? It's a guitar speaker. Why they would use that model in what they describe as a FRFR… makes little sense.
I don't own one, but listening with correct headphones to this video (yes I guess.... YT compression is flaw...) I had that impression that the treble from the tube Amp is coming almost unfiltered through the EV while the G12H30 sounds more... "guitar like" (even a bit too much lows). So your remark that the EV accepts acoustic guitars sounds logic to me.A guitar speaker indeed. But its extended high frequencies somewhat broaden its usability, more so than other guitar speakers. For ex. for an acoustic, and even with a Cab block (at low volume levels).
Yes, that's true, where "somewhat" is the keyword. Here's EV's frequency chart for the speaker…A guitar speaker indeed. But its extended high frequencies somewhat broaden its usability, more so than other guitar speakers. For ex. for an acoustic, and even with a Cab block (at low volume levels).
Thanks! Are there any more gems hidden in the downloads directory ?
