Absolutely the right channel. Common best practices: provide info about what exactly you did and what happened, try to upload a preset exhibiting a particular problem, maybe record some audio showing a problem, if the editor is involved, post detailed system info (operating system, editor version).Just asking, because i dont know. Is this the right channel to report beta- issues, and is there any best practices for gathering information about problem for FAS-team?
Just to be sure that I understand this sentence correctly, as english is not my mother tongue.Improved Amp block output transformer modeling. This requires updated Transformer LF/HF values for the amp models. Existing presets are automatically updated to the new values upon recall.
@Admin M@ I'm facing a strange behaviour with the PVH 6160 block crunch.
Apparently, after playing for a minute or so.. it starts dropping the volume/input.. changing channels stops the issue (but it comes back after a minute or so)
I was able to record a screen capture (the volume drop was already started).
Patch attached (not a real patch, I was just testing the Studio 20 and the PVH) if this helps
however this amp has not been reported. Perhaps they share whatever is creating the problem. I’ll update my report to include this one too.Bug:
Playing the Skull Crusher works for two minutes, than it breaks and no sound comes from the amp any longer.
At idle some pumping, knocking noise appears and disappears.
And the amp sounds much worse than previous versions.
Used with refreshed new FM3 Edit. Mac OSX 10.13.6
Thanks Chris. Looks like the problem started in b5 actually. I had to go back to b4.This issue has been reported.

It seems that i have this problem with all FAS-amps. Has anyone else these kind of problem, or should i just reinstall axe fm.With latest beta 6 update i found on problem:
Create empy patch with just input1-amp ( FAS 6160 )-CAB-out1.
When i dial treble, AxeFM3 hangs out, gives a low clipping type noise, and FM Edit hangs out with that current present. Problem can be solved when i change preset.
Edit: Refresh after new firmware done, and actually my problem fires when i touch any control in that amp
I am working on this issue now.It seems that i have this problem with all FAS-amps. Has anyone else these kind of problem, or should i just reinstall axe fm.
I've had FM3 freeze many times during experiments with the Pitch follower. Sometimes I want to use it on more than one block, like comp, drive and amp mids simultaneously, and sometimes fm3 freezes. I was never able to replicate it on demand though. When I try adding any Modifier to the GAIN knob of the Klon Chiron FM3 freezes.
Only happens with this drive and on the GAIN control
i use only one preset... and it still happensI've experienced this through every firmware. I've asked the questions but nothing explains why. I use the same preset for every song, 40 presets to 120 presets. The exact same preset. Nothing changes except song titles. I start off with copy/paste an empty preset. Save it 40 times then i do the same with my actual preset, then add song titles. Is this your attempt for live shows?
from the note in the first post of this thread:Bug: When selecting 5150 50w as the amp, Friedman Smallbox is actually selected instead. If you select Friedman Smallbox, it takes you to Cameron CCV.
from the note in the first post of this thread:
FM3-Edit version 1.05.11 is required for this firmware: NOTE: You must perform a "Refresh After New Firmware" in FM3-Edit to sync with this new firmware

Seems working with my presets. Not sure this has been reported but switches that are on the amp block ideal page don't change if you click them in FM3-Edit (1.05.11). The switch bounces but remains where it was.
(or is that normal?)
I can switch the input boost as I have that on a footswitch....but none of the others.
I have done the refresh after installing.
Anyone experienced a difference in feel with this update? I mean, when I pick a string, the response is not as fast before the update. My prior firmware is 5.01, I haven't updated for a while. I should know because I've been using my fm3 everyday for the past 3 weeks working on my personal project. I've did a refresh and also tried fm3 standalone not connected to my MacBook. Also, is it possible for me to rollback to an older firmware?
Seems working with my presets.
Sure you got no control-switches or modifiers attached to the switches ?
If so, you are not able to switch them manually inside FM3-Edit.
BTW. FW seems working so far for me but today I will test it at rehearsal.
As far as I know, if they are present they should work.No modifiers on these switches. I can't change them in FM-3 Edit or the amp.
Please understand, I really have not messed with settings much. Maybe I'm a bonehead and these models don't have those switches and thus can't be changed?
