Great example of how easy it would be to create a FAS REVV amp model with little to no effort.the crunch channel on REVVs is just a dual rec with the bass all the way off, lol (I have one so I know)
The FAS 6160 wipes the floor with every other block letter style model IMO. Love that model.Lmao I was messing with the FAS Amps last night. Landed on FAS 6160. Ended up playing chuggy Gojira riffs for like 45 minutes.
6160 Block > FAS 6160 imoThe FAS 6160 wipes the floor with every other block letter style model IMO. Love that model.
Isn’t the FAS hot rod basically a hot plexi?Probably the FAS Crunch.
There's no FAS "Plexi" model.
I believe it is a modded JCM800...Isn’t the FAS hot rod basically a hot plexi?
A FAS Marshall lolI believe it is a modded JCM800...
Interesting idea. I wonder if the FAS amps have a response that is even possible from an analog circuit ? To my ear, the FAS amps sound more perfect than the amps they're derived from. Like warts and limitations from the real amps have been removed. Whether that makes them better--or lacking character--is a matter of taste, I think...I've often wondered if a tube amp manufacturer could learn a lesson or two by examining the design of the FAS amps.
My wishes:
FAS Seal Clubber = Sunn Model T idealized
FAS T&C = idealized Marshall Club and Country
FAS Grey = idealized Marshall Silver Jubilee
FAS Geek = GK 800 RB
