Do you do the reset? You’ll have to assign that stuff again@Bryant , why would a stand in switch not activate as it should, configured the same as before ? Anything to do with a new FM3 edit ?? that will help ?
- Fixed: External FCs with stand-in switches configured but disconnected will no longer trigger during start-up.
The fix for the above release note may have something to do with it. I haven't had a chance to look yet.@Bryant , why would a stand in switch not activate as it should, configured the same as before ? Anything to do with a new FM3 edit ?? that will help ?
This was already done in a previous beta thread.I think it would be good to post a video of this to help the developers understand the issue and check everyone is reporting the same issue.
Stupid question: How do we "RESET SYSTEM PARAMETERS"? Is it the same as "refresh after new FW" under Settings?
Could you assure that in no case a beta firmware may damage permanently the FM3?We can't reproduce this in house with this beta but we will continue to look into this.
Again, this was already done in a previous beta thread.I wonder if the ones experiencing "chirping" or "clicking" could record and post a clip.
we all have smart phones and soundcloud / youtube is free
takes literally 2 min for a 10 second clip
Do you happen to know where the chirp sound is coming from hardware-wise and if it is something we should be concerned with or damaging to our unit?We can't reproduce this in house with this beta but we will continue to look into this.

Here it is again so maybe we don't get 500 replies that say "maybe you should post a video."
@BryantP. This is fixed for me. I had not set "Momentary make", on Tip polarity. my bad........ALL GOOD.The fix for the above release note may have something to do with it. I haven't had a chance to look yet.
This is why I suggested a sound or video clipDo you happen to know where the chirp sound is coming from hardware-wise and if it is something we should be concerned with or damaging to our unit?

Thank you for suggesting we do what had already been done and then continue to beat that dead horse after you replied to a post that had a link to the thing you suggested we do. Where would we be without your thoughtfulness? This is why I suggested a sound or video clip
