1 : 100 maybe. If you’re focused on and influenced by non-favorable reviews, you’ll never be happy.

where are you getting this from? Most comments on here regarding the high gain amps are overwhelmingly positive. With the 5153 Red being an outlier.

You will never get 100% consensus on anything no matter how good it is. I would just look at what the majority of people are saying. Which in this case seems to be that Cygnus is a definite improvement.

I have installed Cygnus, and I am happily playing with it. I think it is very good. I have not started updating any presets, and I have a backup, so I can quickly revert to 15.01 should lightning strike and I get a gig.

I didn’t hear much difference either. He was using a lot effects so I don’t think the tone difference came through.

Remember that you can always roll back to a previous firmware version and older presets, assuming you make backups of everything before installing new firmware and tweaking your presets. Also remember that Facebook groups are seldom a good indicator of how the general public feels or thinks about something.
