I was planning to go with 32 GB RAM but I'm wondering if I should go with 64?
I find it impossible to believe that anyone would notice a difference in brand performance.
Possibly. But I've never had RAM go bad. Any established brand has always worked for me.I may be mistaken but I think it was more a hardware quality thing between the two.

There was a recent test a couple months ago that showed that unless you are using large sample libraries etc, for music production there is almost not benefit to 64gb. There is a huge difference from 8 to 16, not such a big difference going to 32gb, and almost no improvement going to 64gb and higher, so about 32gb is optimal for 95% of users for 95% of tasks
Same - was considering 64 only because if I'm going to crack the box open, I only want to do it once.I was planning to go with 32 GB RAM but I'm wondering if I should go with 64?
