Theres an FM3 Users group, about 1400 people. There are a few people with doa buttons on the headphone version of the FM3. But apparently they’re getting them shipped back right away.

that screen shot shows that it actually is working now; FAS had him reset to default layouts. That might be all it was.

I just got my Headphone version. Booted up and the scribble strips were blank. Did a quick reset and it's fine.

The buttons aren't defective. Just needed a reset. It's on FW 1.03 which may be part of the reason?

Mine booted up fine, but froze hard when switching presets via the value knob. Shut down and powered up and it’s been fine so far.

I’ll be putting the current beta on mine. I had the beta on a non-headphone unit and it ran fine. It fixes a couple things I ran into with 1.03.

Unexpectedly I received an invitation for the headphone version earlier this week (I bought the non-HP version when my name came up on the list in March). So I sold the non-HP version and ordered this one. I found that I was using headphones all the time (through my mixer) so making the switch was a no-brainer.

That's really weird.
Pretty sure the rule was: If you buy your unit, you are taken out of the waitlist. One unit per person.
It seems like you had a fortunate bug in the system.

I got mine! I think I waitlisted sometime in late April of last year but I can't find the email.

I got mine in today and didn’t have any issues with footswitches, buttons, or screens. Seemed to work just fine.
