This is well and good, but would be pretty difficult to adjust multiple presets in a live situation. Just like EQ per output, effect mix level would be super helpful.

I would love to be able to adjust the global effect mix for Reverb/Delay per output. For example, Output 1 going to FOH fully wet, and Output 2 going to my stage monitor with Reverb/Delay dialed back to better hear myself over the nugget heads I play with.

Have you ever tried to add a library item to channel D? It does not work for me on either FM9 or FM3. Seems like it may be related, because it's never happened when I switch from A to B to C. Only D (after it not loading the library file) back to C.

Let's see those FM9 rigs!

Sadly, yes. TS/TS to TRS using pedal 2 and 3 jacks. It's the only disappointing thing about the FM9. I still think it's crazy the little FM3 can do TRS to TRS and only occupy 1 jack. I don't need another footswitch or pedal bad enough to add the cost/complexity of a midi box.

FM9 layout view and functionality

Took me hours to figure this one out, but to get a switch to hold-change layout and actually change the layout on FM3 and FC6 was to assign layout links. The one other thing that did work was setting FC6 to Mirror FM3, but then you lose the display on the FC6.

I know about and use the OMG9 layouts with my FM3/FC6 combo. In edit though, I can only view as FM3, FC6 or FC12. My wish is that a layout could recognize the button layout of an FM3 + FC6 as an FM9. I'm trying to have scenes 1-5 and tap temp on the bottom row of 6 switches and scenes 6-8 on...

I used to use CS per scene to lower the gap between clean and drive tones by staying on one amp/cab, but I settled on living with the gap so I could have a Fender clean and 5153 drive and lead. Many of the gain amps clean up pretty nicely, but not to a sparkly Fender clean.

This has been a helpful thread for me. I never really thought about shunts. I went in and cleaned up my live presets that were around 79-80 and it brought them to 77-78. I'm much more comfortable with that in a live situation. No need to be pushing my luck when there's a host of other things...

More troubleshooting info. Cooper's 2 FM3 presets he posted for New Years loaded blank presets in 1.06.06. So I downgraded to 1.06.05 and the presets loaded fine. Also, in 1.06.05, channel D in the cab block allows loading from the library. It's only in the newest 1.06.06 that channel D...

Additional info in case it helps Macbook pro M1 Max, Sonoma 14.1.2 FM3 version 7.00 and latest edit version 1.06.06 Happens on all presets, and doesn't matter if the library file is dynacab or legacy.

Low and High Cut For Live Performance

I think this was answered in the post just before yours. With a PEQ block, you can bypass it when playing low volume, and engage when playing gig volume. Much easier to bypass a block than change cab settings.
