Those don't even sound like the same preset !!! :(
Sounds like a cab is missing. But yes, they SHOULD sound the same.

I run OUT1 to FOH and OUT2 to FRFR stage monitor and "as best I can tell" they sound the same - with COPY OUT1->OUT2 turned "ON".
Do you have a EFX loop in there, or cab bypassed..
More details on on your preset config, or post the preset or a screen shot pls ??
 
I believe XLR's will be 6db louder unless you are using TRS cables in the line out jacks?

After listening to the clip, wow. Something aint right.
 
Hallå Morten. Glemte å ringe deg. Fokusert på spillejobben. Brukte out2 i PA og XLR i monitorene. Kan sjekke det for deg i morgen. Låter kuler og krutt!!!

Er master/global eq flat på begge?
 
My first thought was how long are your cable runs. 1/4 will eventually have tonal degradation way before xlr does
