Tried to do a search but couldn't find it. My buddy just bought an XL+ and I own an AXII. He lives across the country. Can we exchange presets back and forth between units? Will the presets be compatible?
Presets in an XL can be exported to CSV file format, which can then be read in most text editors or spreadsheet programs. The file shows every setting in every block of the preset. You would just read the settings and recreate your friends' presets manually on your Axe II. Not the most elegant solution for sure, but at least it allows you to recreate those presets on your side. Using AxeEdit on a Windows machine, use Ctrl-Alt-Shift (on the left hand side of the keyboard) then click the Export button at the top right hand side of AxeEdit. There's a similar key combo for the Macs but it escapes me at the moment.
