Wish: Mutually Exclusive Switch Groups and Switch Links

It would be very useful for people who don't use scenes to have the ability to set up mutually exclusive groups of switches on the FC12 and FC6. We have this feature on the Control Switches but it could be very useful for toggling between FX when all the Control Switches are used up.

It would also be cool to be able to link foot switches so that you can toggle multiple foot switches at a time while only stepping on one foot switch. Especially if you could do this across layouts, you could use this feature to change multiple blocks channels at the same time.
 
Control switches and scenes could both accomplish this. Is there a reason you don’t want to use scenes if you’re out of control switches?
 
Control Switches would work if there were more of them. Scenes don’t work because I have more than 8 FX combinations I need quick access to.
