Would be great to to have this flexibility for sending midi stacks and such with External switches too!

Would really open up the usefulness of a 6, and make it into a near FC10.

6 switches just would require a bit too much changing layouts for me, but 12 is a little more than I’d need.

If I had even 8 switches I could do what I need pretty easily, but that would require allowing the ext switches some added functions.
 
I just remembered that I also currently use two other external switches mounted under two of my expression pedals. One of them toggles between Scenes 1 (Main rhythm) and 2 (Alt rhythm). And the other toggles between Scenes 1 and 4 (Solo).

The MFC-101 external switches where very powerful because they could be configured to send almost any midi message, including sysex if needed, globally, or per preset. So you could send Scene changes, PC commands, Any midi command supported by the receiving unit. I Hope to see some of that type of flexibility added?
