Not even close - because in real life there are whole class's of amps I'd never try, play, plug into or even own if given to me gratis so no need to waste what little time and hearing I have left "dialing" in one or even auditioning one. Again Love my Axe FX III but I'm a simple man with simple tastes (or was that a simpleton with no taste, or ...).

I’m the same way... but sometimes I’ll find a modern metal amp for example that sounds just killer at lower gain, or with guitar volume rolled down. So I experiment with amps I wouldn’t normally use
