Who doesn't use a cab for cleans?

I've been matching some patches and not using the cab block. I remember hearing Tesseract and some others doing the same.
Who else does this?
 
It depends....I generally prefer a filter block or parametric eq. Sometime the added features from the cab block are a benefit. I also will use a NULL cab.
 
Check Cooper Carter's vid regards building an acoustic tone. No cab, just several blocks (preamp, GEQ, enhance, chorus, delay, and reverb). CC uses a looper to dial in the GEQ first, then deletes the looper after the preset is built.

TesseracT does it quite a bit from what I hear, yeah. The snap you get from the upper, airy sort of treble is really nice for playing around with delays and getting your ambience on, IMO. The Axe's many reverbs can also really help accentuate that breathiness that sits over lead lines nicely. Really needs something to tame those cab-less dynamics though. Headache City if not.
