Another Dean Markley Blue Steel user here - 2556 (10-46) on my six strings and 2556A (10-56) on my seven strings. Never really had a preference until a buddy recommended I try these; been using them ever since. I've tried other brands several times, I even sorta switched to Ernie Ball for a bit. I always end up back with Blue Steel strings though.
I also use Dean Markley on my acoustic - VintageBronze 2004 (12-54). I had a seven string acoustic for a while too. Never did find a string setup that felt right for that, but I think that was more the guitar not being right than the strings.
I've always used GHS Boomers on my basses - M3045 (45-105) for four strings and 5M-DYB (45-130) for five strings.
Currently stringing all my electrics ( all E standard or occasionally drop-D) with Ernie Ball PO2722 hybrid cobalt strings. 9-46 gauge. Light unwound strings, regular wound strings.
