So...what've been your favorite moderateły high gain amp/cab combinations?

Feel free to share any additional deeper/unusual tweaking tips as well.
 
I'd say something aggressive, but not quite metal. I've been loving the Carol Ann and Marshall models a lot! Really thick, but not hyper-compressed. I like my gain to breathe a little bit. :)
 
Adam, you're speaking truth, brother. I've been using something a little crazy, but it's been feeling great in the mix! The 50 watt plexi high with the Brit Super tonestack and a little graphic EQ love alongside the Recto cabs from cab pack 5 have been sounding HUGE! It's got some cajones and killer clarity.
 
Angel sever1 with Diezel V30 \ Mesa 5881 double UR cab panned center ... I think relative Hi-gain depends a lot by how much we push Drive and Master

On the low mid side the almighty recto2 orange modern ... same cab configuration or whatever having a good v30 style cab
 
Carol-Ann OD-2.. Full MV.. Man that sings.... PT 1x12 + #84, #103 or the EV12L

Any Bogner.. Depending on the mix. FAS Class A on full tilt is cool ;)
