What's the point of a 4x12 in 2022? - Genuine question

My 4x12 is buried deep in my guitar storage room, and hasn't been to a gig in decades. Ever since I started using modelers for live performances, I've wanted to get a life-sized banner of a full Marshall stack printed to hang behind the band, but I'm weird that way. (Back in the early '80s, I had a rotary-style wall phone hung from my mic stand, and would occasionally have "conversations" on it between songs.)

I gig with the FM3 into 2 12" cabs with NEO speakers. I generally use a 2 x 12 cab model from the FM3. We usually mic the cab into the PA. For my purposes this is more than enough to play any venue. I see many professional bands use 1 x 12 or 2 x 12 cabs on stage - in large venues the PA is so massive that those must be all they need.
