Whatcha guys using in a live context to place your rack with AXE-FX on?

Height, adjustment? Um all of them?

And lots of utility gear is appealing to me. Racks make me weak in the knees. Rolling toolboxes make me giddy.

That spindly abortion that we are fighting about makes me mad.

To anyone watching: me and Unix-Guy would be fast friends in real life. we would argue about arch vs. gentoo and PRS vs Suhr and The Cure vs. Porno for Pyros and I would win all those arguments but he would still be cool.
It's not just height adjustable, though. All 4 legs can also rotate around where you want / need them to be.

I like them so much I bought a second.

And yeah, I could imagine those arguments! I have an old friend that I've had similar with for years :)

+1 For the Quiklok RS540, although it's pretty heavy and lately I've got lazy! For the past few gigs my SKB shallow rack has sat on top of the bass player's cab, and even on a chair at another gig. That's the beauty of the Axe, all you need is access to power, a small footprint to set the rack down, and you're good to go. My setup time at gigs is literally a few minutes. Brilliant!

$131. I can't fathom this thing.
you can back a car over it. you can put an frfr under it and it's height adjustable. Makes for a very small footprint on stage. I also prefer a stand like this to a kick back one because with the kickback stuff you cant put anything on top of your rack. I have a rigid workbox that has my wireless, picks and all the stuff I need in there that I usually set up on top.

This is what I've been using, made from Gibraltar drum rack parts. I like it because I can scale it. For stage situations where my visual footprint needs to be small I can collapse everything down so the AX3 is angled and tucked at the top of the CLR monitor and you barely see it. For more complicated situations I can add the laptop and iPad stands to control patches and monitor mixes. Shown here in its messy native environment at home, complete with confusing rental apartment mirror behind it.
