What Wattage Soldering Iron...

I'm all for getting a soldering gun for Christmas. Super handy to have around. I'd go with these on speaker
wires, though. No soldering needed.

Sigh....yea...I picked up a ring-light magnifier for the electronics/workbench just last month....aging eyes indeed.

holy crap I needs this. The magnification and light sooooo helpful. Me squinting and eyes tearing up profusely straining. ? I have one a helping hands kit that I call Johnny 5. I'd love to use this in conjunction with it. helpful to have the helping hands when you have large monkey hands and dealing with very small wires and components.

Same connectors should work on a standard 1/4" jack as well.

I went with Amazon product ASIN B07MZM7MPS.

Being able to move the arms around the baseplate, or easily remove them, has helped many times, and being able to bend the arms to position the alligator clips was really useful when doing XLR connectors.

While the magnifying glass helps, I can't recommend that stand. The arms and alligators can't be adjusted to all the angles I've found I need.

It's an all in one solution for me. Light, magnification, helping hands, and less than $25. I couldn't solder
a damn thing (outside some copper plumbing) without it. Some days I wish I could wear it on my face.

I guess I just thought they should be soldered, since that's what I've seen on speaker jacks.

Haha! The best bands I have been in have always had one superbly anal member who made
sure we all took care of the cords and cables properly when tearing down. One was so anal
that we all just let him do EVERY cable himself.
