what should I expect FW update

What should I be prepared for? Like reselecting amps, etc.

That is what I was afraid of. Not the tweaking but the clearing of agenda. The only weekend I am not playing are the ones where I am out of state for the next couple months. The weekdays won't work due to rehearsal. That's why I'm still stuck on 12. Ugg

You could back up 12.02 load up 15.xx and work on it a bit, save it, and then reload 12.02. That way you can do it in baby steps.

Only if you back up and restore all presets which go with the specific firmware version, each time.
IMHO, this is asking for trouble.

When I backup presets, I indenity what FW vers they are on by placing them in a folder XX.XX (FW version) Backups

Is there another reason it might be bad? I feel comfortable that I know which preset backup aligns with what vers FW.
