So what about an Austrian Audio OC818 IR set? The OC818 is a multi pattern condenser that allows the pattern to go through all the patterns, mix and match as it has two signal outputs, and a plugin that allows you to change the pickup pattern and mix as desired after the recording. I've seen mics like this applied to cab micing on youtube videos and it sounds like it works great as far as i can tell. Has anyone made a cab IR set available using a dual output sweepable pattern mic such as the OC818? Incidentally, other dual output mic. options are Microtech Gefell UM930 Twin, the Pearl ELM-A, and Sennheiser MKH800 Twin.
