What´s the sound between FW-Update and Amp-Reset?

At every FW-Update i copy my Settings from x to y and reset the Ampblock x.

But the Ampblock, which I havent´t reset and only updated, sounds different to the previous Firmwaresound.

Can anybody explain this Sound ?

my guess:
y is your preset with advanced parameters from the previous fw, but new modelling;
x is your preset with advanced parameters RESET based on new fw, and new modelling;
They all will most likely sound different (depending on the changes of modelling algorithms and amp model settings) and also different from the previous fw.

Thanks! That´s it, i think. Sometimes this "in-between" Sound ist better than the new Firmware.............
