WDW Rig with Eclipse

How would I set up a WDW rig using an Eclipse in the AxeFX loop and outputting to a GT1500FXBD and then on to 2 passive CLR's (cab sim) and a 4x12 cab (no cab sim)? Is this even possible?

ooh that's tough. using up the FX Loop for the Eclipse doesn't leave much (if any) room for the non-cab Output. perhaps if you run the Eclipse in mono and do some crazy routing, you might be able to do it. maybe someone else can chime in.

Do you expect to need a stereo send from Axe-FX to Eclipse for anything?

If "no", you could use one channel of Output 2 to feed the Eclipse with whatever mono effects you want included at this point, and use the other Out 2 channel for the dry signal. Cab sim could be before or after Eclipse in this scenario. Eclipse output could be stereo to Axe-FX input 2 L/R.

If "yes", could you work with Eclipse being entirely after the Axe-FX? Axe Output 2 for dry, Axe Output 1 L/R to Eclipse, Eclipse L/R out to power amp.

Aside from CPU limits the only real problem occurs if you want a configuration that requires more than 4 separate output channels on the Axe-FX. To have a dry mono signal, stereo pre-Eclipse effects output, final W/W output requires 5 output channels.

If you don't need for the wet signal to go back from the Eclipse to the Axe it's easily achieved, see example of a routing below

Row 1 - Drive - Amp - Split to row 1&2 - Cab sim - Delay - Loop out - Eclipse - Matrix L&R - CLRs (wet)
Row 2 - Shunt(s)-------------------------------- Matrix Center - Cab (dry)
