"Waiting for tuner"

Ok- all I want is to engage the tuner via IA switch.
All I get is the "waiting for tuner" message.
Midi settings are as necessary in I/O menu.
Getting frustrated.
If I touch the tuner button on the axe, it will display on the MFC. But I want it to display when I hit the freaking switch.
What am I missing?

Is the tuner on the tuner page or one of the other pages?

Tuner page. Do I have to physically touch the tuner button on the axe every time I want to tune? I always assumed the IA switch would instantly engage the tuner display on the MFC...

No.
When the Tuner on the Axe-Fx is set to anything other than its first tab page, the message "Waiting for tuner" appears when pressing Tuner on your MFC. So make sure that the Tuner on the Axe-Fx is set to first page when you exit it.

Check tuner CC# in Axe I/O menu. It should be 15.

Thanks Bakerman- that was my issue...I had it set to pedal from my last board...(head in hands)
