Wah keeps lingering on for a second after releasing pedal

Hello everyone, I’m enjoying my fm9 a lot but I stumble on a problem with my auto wah-block. Somehow it keeps lingering on when I release my pedal for just a second. It doesn’t shut down immediately when I release my pedal. Is this something you guys recognize? I’m using a TRS rockboard cable with a Mission pedal (spl)

Set the auto-engage type to FAST POS to have it turn off faster when your pedal enters the on/off range you have set.

Set the auto-engage type to FAST POS to have it turn off faster when your pedal enters the on/off range you have set.

This is how I have my wah set up on both the AxeFX III and FM3. It disengages pretty quickly - probably about as fast as I could do it with a toe switch.
