I know precious little about recording but I was having so much fun tonight with the Axe II 'W@rped Vinyl' patch that I set the open mic on my laptop to 'Rec' and sat the laptop in front of the speaker.
I just love the way this patch ages the sound, reminds me of charming parlour music of the 20's or 40's. Apart from the patch's scratched vinyl effect if you listen you can hear how the patch is warping some of the notes, fading some and boosting others.
It just makes me smile.
