Video about Speaker Resonance that blew my mind!

Guys check this video out specially from 5:20, he says that if the IRs are recorded using a tube amp then the IR has allready the coloring of that amp and that meens that you should bring down to 0 the Speaker Resonance in order to not double color the tone! Do you guys do this???? Also, do you guys know how the IRs from Fractal, ML and Celestion are recorded (flat amp or tube amp)? @FractalAudio maybe you can help with this.
 
The low resonance in particular can be overwhelming. Mostly I use my ears. Lately I find it's helpful to narrow the Q, turn the resonance up, sweep for the sweet spot, then back the level off to get the amount cab thump you're looking for. I also started running my ASM with the low cut off so I have more control over it. Anyway, if it's too muddy turn it down!
