VHT Pitbull Relays?

I'm looking to get a VHT Pitbull. Has anyone used a VHT with the FX8 relays? I'm hoping it will work through Midi or a custom made cable without needing to get a switch gizmo. Any ideas? Thanks

the FX8 has 2 relays, and midi out. Check with your amp manufacturer, make sure the relays are short to sleeve, not voltage differential

Hey dude, I have a Pittbull 50CL. I have had the FX8 for only about a week now so haven't set up the switching yet, but it has a 5 pin DIN jack for the footswitch so I *think* all that's needed is a custom cable.

I'll do a little tinkering with some spare parts soon and post back the results.

BTW, love the Pittbull and FX8 is sounding killer in 4CM

I use to own the PIttbull Ultra lead and I think it's the best sounding head I've ever owned. I'm currently using a Rockerverb 100 DIVO and a old 2channel Mesa Dual Rec and the relay's work great. I don't want to go this route if I'm unable to use the relays with it. Thanks guys
