Version 5.00 firmware preview

I wonder how long it will be before someone tries to come up with a tube that does a good job of simulating the Axe-Fx :):):)

As you mention it.....a funny thing happened to me yest.....now I sold most of my tube Amps, but I kept a few of the vintage ones....my favorites. They have been collecting dust for some time tho. I decided to crank up my tweed-ed favorite, and to my almost disgust, it sounded almost.....digital! I have been sooooo used to the axe's warmth that even a real tube amp seems sterile in comparison! I was trying to figure out what was the attraction with that amp before.....it just seemed so thin and raspy and fizzy.....but I kept playing.....after about 30 mins when the tubes started to really cook, I remembered. The sound was svelte and warm.

But still far from axe heaven. I had to wait for 30 mins at ear splitting volumes to get what I could get consistently in less than 10 seconds with the axe. FAS, you guys have truly made a believer outta me!
