Absolutely love the Van Halen tones I am getting.

I have to give props to knjaxefx2 for giving me my starting point with this patch here

I have edited it some to get the sound I am after, but this patch kicks ass out of the box.

Anyway, hope you guys like the recording.

First recording I have done with my new macbook pro and Yosemite

 
F....great... is this dialed in for FRFR or real amp and cab? And is it for Les Paul Typ or more of a JEM Typ?:eagerness:

As I mentioned, the patch was not mine, it was based on knjaxefx2 patch I posted the link to. I made some small changes for my guitar but that was it.

But here is the thing.

It may be this patch, or my JCM800 patch, but one of them sounded like crap on firmware 16. Sounded great on 15, like crap on 16, then awesome again on 17.

Again, not remembering if it was this patch or my jcm 800 patch. And maybe in the upgrade to 16 I did not reset the amp block or something else correctly, not sure.

But this was recorded with 17.
