Blimey! I was there. I was right at the front on Eddies side of the stage with 2 of my best friends from that time in life. I was so close I could see the whites of Eddie's eyes. It was amazing to think now that they were not the headlining act on the bill.
My friends and myself went (I think?) for about 4 years running. I also got myself to the front of the stage to see DLR with Steve Vai in (was it?) 1986. I think that festival was the high light of my year back then. I have a lot of happy memories about them all.
